Summary0001398: After cold booting, black screen is keep.
DescriptionWe got 10 broken boxes from end user and 6 boxes have black scree issue.
It is not hdmi issue.
All logs are similar.

Please check why this issue happen.
Additional Information4 boxes is recovered by OTA using usb memory stick ( without keep_data).
If there is keep_data in usb memory stick, box is not recovered.

Hi Wooshin,

It looks like there is a problem in starting com.skb.tv and I think com.skb.tv is the UI launcher.
com.skb.tv keeps crashing every 2~3 seconds, so UI will not show up (you can try to use command to kill it repeatedly and quickly, UI will not show up).
com.skb.tv crashes beacuse of unexpected size of /data/user/0/com.skb.tv/app_xwalkcore/icudtl.dat. So, I think first you need also to report this issue to who implements com.skb.tv app to let them debug it.

For further debuggint this issue, could you help to give some information:
1. Do end user can ever use these SWANs? Or it happened no screen when they first time turn it on?
2. Colud you give us the bad /data/user/0/com.skb.tv/app_xwalkcore/icudtl.dat by OTA userdebug image with keep_data?
3. How about the other 2 of 6 no screen SWAN? Do you keep it for debug or it can not be recovered by OTA without keep_data?

Hi River,
Yes i agree with you.
But, check below log agiain, I think that crashing is keep because broken file is used repeatedly.
"cr_BrowserStartup: icu Exists But file size is not 10127200 byte"
We have to find why this file was broken, it is root cause for this issue

1. Do end user can ever use these SWANs? Or it happened no screen when they first time turn it on?
-> I don't know, i know only it was back from end end user.
2. Colud you give us the bad /data/user/0/com.skb.tv/app_xwalkcore/icudtl.dat by OTA userdebug image with keep_data?
-> I will send it to you at tomorrow
3. How about the other 2 of 6 no screen SWAN? Do you keep it for debug or it can not be recovered by OTA without keep_data?
-> 2 boxes are keep by me, others was recovered by OTA without keep_data.

I have done test it with SPTEK, I found how to reproduce it.
I knew that it should be fixed by SPTEK.
So i will close it.

1. pm clear com.skb.tv in shell.
2. wait 1or 2 seconds and do cold boot.
